Acrylic offers many of the benefits of glass — including the see-through design and natural light filtering — without the drawbacks. Unlike glass, acrylic is impact-resistant and lightweight. Your water feature can weigh significantly less than glass, while resisting damage better. This is important, because water creates a significant amount of pressure, and an acrylic water fountain will hold up well under that pressure. Acrylic is weather-resistant, so it is not going to be damaged by the constant exposure to water in one of our designs, nor will it fade with exposure to sunlight. This material won’t yellow or change color over time like other plastics, which is another reason we prefer it for our designs.
